Out of the Box with Mr. Knits: Thanksgiving updates
Even in the temporary absence of Mrs. Knits, who will continue to be on medical leave after she leaves the physical rehab center in a few weeks, there is a lot going on.
For starters, we are both delighted to see that the super bulky yarns have been so well-received by you! There will be more yarn added soon, but a lot is occupying our time and attention.
A sad change is consolidating Mrs. Knits Yarn Studio in Bremerton WA back into a smaller space, which will serve as a showroom, office, and pickup point for local folks. A true brick & mortar store is really not in the cards, despite our efforts. We are still looking for creative ways to interact with the fiber arts community, including at the studio, but most of them will be here on line.
We’re still mostly trying to maintain our footing during difficult times, but we SO appreciate your support and continued patronage. There is definitely more yarn to come in the near future.
During difficult times, it’s even more important to pause and be grateful for what we do have. That’s not “resting on our laurels”. That’s grounding ourselves and taking stock of what we do have, so we can continue to move forward. This time around it’s gratitude that Mrs. Knits and I can earn an honest living with Mrs. Knits’ favorite pastime, knitting. We get to deliver Happy Knitting and Crocheting to you full time!
